Welcome to the 2025-26 school year at Dan Mills! We are excited about the year ahead and look forward to working together to support the school. Our mission is to engage our talents, skills, interests and abilities to make Dan Mills an outstanding learning environment for all of our students.

We work to fulfill that mission by getting involved! The PTO raises funds to support technology in our classrooms, curriculum materials, professional development, school activities, school improvements and so much more. We also recruit the volunteers that support our wonderful teachers and administration by offering their skills and time to help the school thrive! Our volunteers help with everything from gardening and landscaping to reading with children to hanging student art on the walls to being a testing proctor to serving as “teacher for an hour” so our amazing teachers can go out to lunch during Teacher Appreciation Week.    

ALL Dan Mills family members (parents, grandparents, guardians) and staff members are automatically members of our PTO. While we welcome donations, we DO NOT charge membership dues. Everyone is welcome and included!

Our PTO is successful because of our amazing volunteers. We appreciate you, and we value your involvement and dedication to your child's education! Whether you have ample time to give or just a few minutes here and there, we can use your help. We would love to know your areas of interest or expertise!

We hold ONE major fundraising event - Dragon Dash. This is a school-wide fun run held in October. It brings in over $50,000 and is so much fun for the students!

We also raise funds through sales of Dan Mills spirit wear, which can be worn as standard school attire every school day. Spirit wear can be purchased at school events and online. Shop now!

The Dan Mills PTO Communications Team sends a monthly email to inform parents about important dates, reminders, and ways to get involved. Occassionally we’ll pop in with other news, so please sign up!
